{ Drums & Lead Vocals }: Mike Jagiello-( "Jags" )-{ 2nd. from left in picture }- definately considered to be "one of the best , if not the best , "singing drummers" in the business" !! } ~ { He's one of the "founding" members of "Blues Child", & extremely versed in classic rock, motown, funk, swing, blues, & rock for years with past rock bands as : "Rockaway" , "Midnight Rollers" , "Abraxas" , "Alaska" , "Argus" , "Turning Time" , "Phil & The Specters", "The JAM" , "E.S.T." , "The Brew" , "Jump Street" , "Thin Ice" } ~ { Earlier in his career Mike jammed with Local Buffalo Legend & National recording artist "Rick James" , who after only one song into the jam session, stood up, shook his hand and said to "Jags" : { "Dam man , for a white boy you got some chops"!! } & also National acts : "Wilmer & The Dukes" & "Steppenwolf" } ~ { Mike has also opened for National recording artists "The Guess Who", earlier in his career. } ~ { "Jags" has done some "voice over" work in the studio in the past , one of which was a radio commercial for Buffalo's own hometown "Buffalo Blizzard" , which aired for quite sometime. } ~ { "Jags" is known for being the "Rich Little" of voices ! } ~ { He takes pride in doing "voice imitation" of bands such as : "Jethro Tull", "Rare Earth", "Steppenwolf ", "B.B.King", "Chicago", "Johnny Lang", "Blues Brothers", "Molly Hatchet", "Lynyrd Skynyrd", "Elvis Presley", "Beatles", "Joe Cocker", "Delbert McClinton", "Tragically Hip", "Led Zeppelin", "Ac/Dc", & the list goes on , "giving the audience an "authentic" version of what the song "actually" sounds like & making you feel your listening to the "original" band perform" ! } ~ { "Jags" is also in the "Guinness Book Of World Records" by taking part in Buffalo Drum Outlet's "Buffalo Big Beat 2008" , run by owner Paul Musilli , where 150 drummers from Buffalo played the same beat together for over 6 minutes, along with five other cities in the country "simultaneously"! The event was held at the "Millenium Hotel" in Cheektowaga, NY on November 2nd., 2008 , sponcered by "Buffalo Drum Outlet" & benefiting the "Responce To Love Center". ~ "Blues Child" performed at the event also ; & "Blues Child" returned for a performance at: {"Buffalo Big Beat 2009" ~ "Sticking it to Hunger" ~ Charity Event } held @ the "Marygold Manor" 770 Maryvale Drive, Cheektowaga, NY on November 1st. , 2009. ~{ All proceeds went to the "Responce To Love Center"~(a soup kitchen in East Buffalo)~ & also to "Mr. Holland's Opus"~(a national organization providing schools with brand new band or orchestra instruments)~, sponcered once again by "Buffalo Drum Outlet's owner Paul Musilli", & It's the 2nd. "Guiness Book Of World Records" event for "Jags" ! } ~ Blues Child's own Mike("Jags")Jagiello also supplied all the sound gear & ran the sound for all the bands performing that night at the event ! } ~ { "Jags" adds drive with his "precision percussion work" & his "powerfull variety of vocals", making "Blues Child" one of Buffalo's Best !! } ~

{ Sax, Flute, Harmonica, Bkg. Vocal }: Dale Rugg-( "Hollywood" )-{ 2nd. from right in picture } - He has been playing in Buffalo's local music scene for many years, & is also one of the "founding" members of "Blues Child" & has opened up for "Eddy Money" in Buffalo's Lafayette Square in 2005 & also recorded an "Original Buffalo Music Scene C.D." with his band ; "The Swillberries" , which was produced by Gary Mallaber-{ drummer from the "Steve Miller Band", "Van Morrison", & other popular artists !! } ~ { Dale adds his "powerful harmonica" sounds on such artists as : John Mayal's "Room to move" , Blues Brother's version of "Messin' with the kid" , Molly Hatchet's song "Train Train" , & especially on Blues Travaler's "Runaround", "The Hook", & "Crash Burn"! } ~ { "Hollywood" makes use of "4 vintage saxaphones"- Soprano, Alto, Tenor, & Baritone. He uses a "harmonizer" on his saxaphones on numerous songs which adds that extra "full sound of horns" !! } ~ { Dale also plays Flute -(which by the way, "he just bought a brand new one & will be using it starting on 5/16/10" !)- "So now he will absolutely "wow you" on Jethro Tull's "Locomotive Breath" & "Cross Eyed Mary" & on "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin !! } ~ { Dale is also an accomplished "Clarinet player" , as you'll see when we add a couple big band tunes to the list in the future. } ~ { Dale is also a fine automotive technician and co-owner along with Bob McDonald of an auto repair business-(2 locations)-called: "Hewitt International" in Buffalo, & Tonawanda, N.Y. } ~ { He loves riding his vintage Harley~Davidson as much as possible. } ~{ Dale has numerous "works of art" on 80% of his body !! } ~ { He enjoys Martial Arts , & also holds a "Black Belt" in Karate !! } ~ { "Hollywood" is also avidly into playing rolls in certain movies as an "extra", where you might see him in a "fighting scene" , or maybe as a "body guard" & you may have seen him on a 3 ft. x 5 ft. "poster in Tops Market" in July of '09 for an ad for gasoline ! } ~ { Dale has also been seen in the background on multiple "T.V. commercials as well"! His latest movie roll is in a local vovie called: "CRIMSON" where Dale plays a "thug" hired by a mobster. He's seen in at least half of the movie this time , with a quite a few vocal lines as well ! Check out crimson.com } ~ { Hollywood has "Fabio", but Buffalo has "Daleio"! "Hey , you never know , soon "Hollywood" could have "both" ! } ~ { But seriously , & best of all , Dale's been a good friend for many years & everyone in "Blues Child" is absolutely thrilled to have "Hollywood" back playing music with us once again !! }~

{ Bass Guitar, Lead Vocal }: Dan Morey-{ Far left in picture } - has been a part of Buffalo's local music scene playing rock, classic rock, and blues for many years. Dan started playing at the ripe old age of 14 , and has played in numerous bands playing all types of music ! ~ { Dan still continues to lay down "melodic , soulful , & at times powerfull , thundering bass lines" ! } ~ { Dan's "strong four-octave vocal range" gives "Blues Child" an open door to many blues or classic rock tunes. } ~ { Dan also plays a five string bass , which is very useful in alot of tunes that "Blues Child" plays. } ~ { Dan's awesome vocal rendition of Blues Travelers' "Run Around" & "The Hook", coupled with the Blues Brothers' rendition of "Gimme Some Lovin' ", Junior Walker's tune : "Shotgun" , & Eric Clapton's song : "Forever Man", coupled with Buddy Miles's "Them Changes" & Stevie Ray Vaughn's "House is Rockin' " just to name a few , gets the crowd on their feet & dancing every time !! } ~ { We made a "personnel change" and added a keyboard player after our first year of playing, and in doing so ; Dan,-{along with "Jags"}-on vocals, "very easily" split up the tunes that one of our past members sang , & "continued on without missing a beat"!! } ~{ Dan also sings most of the high harmonies in the band. }~{ At times you'll find Dan jumping up & down, getting into the music more so now than he ever did before because Dan, along with everyone else in the band agree that "Blues Child" is Now the "Best It's Ever Been" !! }~

{ Lead Guitar, Lead Vocal }: Adrian Michael Kobrin-( "Cobra" )- { Far right in picture } - a seasoned veteran for many years, has played lead guitar & sang with three of Buffalo's premier bands such as : "Junction West" , "Weekend" , & "United Sound" , which after Mike left , made it into the Buffalo Music Hall Of Fame. } ~ { "Cobra" has also been on the road numerous times, & has opened for many National recording artists for a good part of his playing career, & has some stories to tell there , for sure ! } ~ { He has been in the studio numerous times when acts would call him in to lay down some guitar tracks. } ~ { Mike has made each band he played with that much better , & "Blues Child" is the latest ! } ~ { "Cobra" brings his superior lead guitar work , coupled with his vocals , to "Blues Child". } ~ { Mike is definately one of the absolute best singing lead guitar players you'll find not only in Buffalo , but anywhere in the country for that matter ! } ~ { Whether Mike is "standing still jammin' away" at some incredible leads, ..."occationally walking around through the audience with his wireless on",..."in the right moment, standing on a chair or table playing with his teeth" ,... or "playing with the guitar behind his neck", "Cobra" has proven time and time again to bring excitement & versatility to each band he has played in , including "Blues Child" ! } ~ { Mike's a "master at his craft" and is a "true showman & professional" which makes "Blues Child" one of Buffalo's Best !! } ~

{ Keyboards, Bkg. Vocal }: Richard Smith-( "Professor Smitty" )- { Center of picture } - is the newest member of "Blues Child", and a "welcomed addition"as well ! ~ { "Professor Smitty's" calm & analytical approach to things, and life in general, makes "everyone" in the band realize , & we are "all in agreement" that "Blues Child" is now much "more relaxed" & "much better" then we ever were in the past , by adding Rich" !! } ~ { "Professor Smitty"is a real joy to have in the band ! } ~ { "Rich's" availability & timing for looking for a band couldn't have been better for "Blues Child" because it brought about "changes" we were thinking about doing in the band for quite some time , to fruition !! } ~ { "Professor Smitty" is also another veteran for many years , & is one of Buffalo's "Premier keyboardists" !! } ~ { "Blues Child" is very happy to have a real keyboardist like Rich aboard !! } ~ { "Professor Smitty" is versed in music theory, and can play all styles of music ; whether it's on "Piano"-{as in the 'Jethro Tull' songs: "Locomotive Breath", "Cross Eyed Mary" , & "Aqualung", coupled with the 'Colin James' tune: "Cadillac Baby" , or the 'Blues Brothers' version of "Sweet Home Chicago", .... or "Organ"-{ in tunes such as : "Get Ready" by 'Rare Earth' , & the 'Blues Brothers' version of "Gimme' Some Lovin' ", & also "Steppenwolf's' "Born to be Wild", or 'Joe Cocker's "The Letter" , ...or "Horn sounds"-{ in tunes like : "Vehicle" by 'The Ides Of March', "Them Changes" by 'Buddy Miles', "Soul Man" by the 'Blues Brothers' , or "Blues Is My Business" by the 'Groove Hogs' , or a "complete String section" - { as in the intro. of the 'The Honey Drippers' version of the tune "Sea of Love" ! } ~ { "Professor Smitty" offers up that "extra demention", "expanding our horizon" & which absolutely makes "Blues Child" to be considered one of Buffalo's "Premier Rockin' Blues / Classic Rock Bands" !! }

~{"Labor Day Weekend"}~ "Saturday", September 4 th. ~ {"Blues Child" takes to the stage @ 6:00 p.m. !! } ~

~ { " HOG HOLIDAY " } ~ "BIKE SHOW & BAR - B - Q" ~ @ the "Hogarosa Campgrounds" , Springville , NY ~ { "One of the best Bike Shows in the State" } { This weekend , "SATURDAY" night is when the "Best Entertainment" is "without a doubt" !!! ~ Also w/ the best "Bikes", "Food", & "People"! } ~ { At least 2,000 people will attend this "Concert" by Buffalo's own "Blues Child" !! } ~ "You know we're having a blast again in 2010" !! ~ "Yeah Baby" !! ~
